I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and chocolate ice magic was an extra special treat that we all loved in our house.
I know what your saying that there are lots of recipes out there on the internet for DIY chocolate ice magic, but you have never tried my recipe. Of course, we think it’s the bees knees.
You can use any chocolate from white, milk to dark. You can also use flavoured chocolate! If you don’t have a block of chocolate then use choc bits. As long as the chocolate you use is gluten free you can use what you like eating / using. I like using for me the Organic Times Dark Chocolate Buds as they are gluten, dairy and corn free. My kids love the milk chocolate bits by Nestle, Green and Blacks Organic Milk Chocolate, or the Aldi Australia Honeycomb Milk Chocolate. I even like to flavour my dark chocolate ice magic. It brings back memories of the peppermint chocolate ice magic I had as a kid. To recreate I use one (1) to two (2) drops of dōTERRA essential oils. Other flavours I also enjoy are wild orange to recreate a jaffa flavour, cinnamon and spearmint, but the flavours can be endless….just start with one (1) drop then taste and add another til you get it to the flavour and intensity that you prefer.
This ice magic even makes a delicious dipping chocolate to dip fruits and marshmallows. If it gets cold it will harden, so you will have to place the jar into a bowl of hot water to melt it again.
Chocolate Ice Magic

- Fill a saucepan ¾ full with boiling water from a kettle.
